The Flip the Lid & Win promo offers you a chance to win exciting prizes, including a fan meet with Cha Eun Woo in Bangkok, Thailand, with any purchase of Cornetto ice cream (Classic, Disc, or White Rose)! To join, simply flip the lid of your Cornetto cone, scan the QR Code, and submit the unique alphanumeric code within August 1 to October 31, 2024.
Participants can purchase Cornetto Classic variants (Chocolate, Cookies & Dream, Vanilla, Choco Hazelnut, Berry Crazy For Yoh, Ube Caramel), Cornetto Disc variants (Black Choco Disc, White Choco Cookies & Cream Disc, Milky Choco Almond Disc, Matcha Crumble Disc, Spanish Latte Disc), or Cornetto White Rose from any store nationwide.
The Promo is open to:
a) Male and Female
b) Aged 16 years old and above
a. For fan meet winners, they must be 18 years old and above to travel alone. If 16-17 years old, a legal guardian is required (flight and accommodations will not be shouldered by Cornetto for the legal guardian).
c) Has a Facebook Account
d) Has a GCash Account (for GCash Winners)
e) Has a valid passport (for Fan Meet Winners)

To join the promo, purchase any Cornetto variant (Classic, Disc, or White Rose) from any store nationwide from August 1, 2024 – October 31, 2024, and submit your unique alphanumeric code to Cornetto’s Facebook Messenger for a chance to win instant and grand prizes!
The promo starts on August 1, 2024, and ends on October 31, 2024.
Announcement of all fan meet winners will be made on September 23, 2024, 6:00 PM. Meanwhile, raffle winners for posters and photocards will be announced on September 23, 2024 (Round 1) and November 8, 2024 (Round 2), 6:00 PM. Winners will be contacted through Facebook Messenger and announced on the Selecta Cornetto Facebook page.
Step 1:
Purchase any of the Cornetto variants (Classic, Disc, or White Rose) from any store nationwide within August 1 – October 31, 2024.
Step 2:
Flip the Lid to find the unique alphanumeric code.
- For purchases of Cornetto Classic or Disc, scan the QR Code that will lead directly to the Selecta Cornetto Facebook Messenger.
- For purchases of Cornetto White Rose, scan the QR Code that leads to the official promo landing page and click “Philippines.” This will lead participants to the Selecta Cornetto Facebook Messenger.
Step 3:
Once on the official Selecta Cornetto Facebook Messenger already, submit your unique 10-digit alphanumeric code.
Step 4:
Submit your Name, Contact Number, Email, and Address to the chatbot when prompted.
a) Gcash Voucher Winners
Winners will be given a link to the unique GCash Claiming Page and a GCash Claiming Code to enter. Once completed, their award will be reflected on their e-wallet.
b) Free Boom Boom Chocolate Ice Cream Winners
Winners will be given a unique code to be presented in either 7-Eleven, Prince, Robinsons Supermarket, Uncle John’s, South Star Drug, or Lawson to claim a free Boom Boom Chocolate Ice Cream.
c) Raffle Draw Eligible Consumers
Winners who will not win a GCash Voucher or Free Boom Boom Chocolate Ice Cream will be given instructions to wait for the Raffle Draw announcement on the Selecta Cornetto Facebook page. Prizes include Cha Eun Woo photocards, posters, or the grand prize – fan meet in Bangkok, Thailand!
Step 5:
Raffle Draw winners will be contacted on Facebook Messenger and will be announced on the Selecta Cornetto Facebook page on September 23 (Round 1) and November 8, 2024 (Round 2), 6:00 PM. All fan meet winners will be announced on the first raffle draw on September 23, 2024. Other prizes will be split between the two raffle dates.
Winners will either win instant prizes in the form of Free Ice Cream or GCash Credits, major raffle prizes in the form of Cha Eun Woo photocards or posters, or grand raffle prizes in the form of a fan meet with Cha Eun Woo in Bangkok, Thailand.
Prizes are non-transferable. Non-cash prizes are not convertible to cash.
Instant prize winners will be awarded upon entry submission. Prizes are valid for claiming until December 31, 2024.
a) Gcash Voucher Winners
- Winners will be given a link to the unique GCash Claiming Page and a GCash Claiming Code to enter. Once steps are completed within the GCash application, the subsequent voucher award will be reflected on their e-wallet.

b) Free Boom Boom Chocolate Ice Cream Winners

- Cha Eun Woo Fan Meet Winners
- Eligible winners must meet the following requirements:
a) Be at least 18 years old. If the winner is 16-17 years old, a legal guardian is required (flight and accommodations will not be shouldered by Cornetto for the legal guardian).
b) Have a valid Philippine passport
c) Have the right to travel and enter Thailand. - The following expenses will be shouldered by Cornetto:
a) Round-trip flight tickets from Manila to Bangkok, Thailand
b) Overnight accommodation for one person
c) Transportation in Thailand for two days (to and from the airport & to and from the fan meet venue)Each winner will receive their travel documents and requirements sent to their email addresses on or before October 23, 2024. - Once contact with the winner has been initiated, flights and accommodations will be coordinated and arranged by a Selecta representative on or before the fan meet schedule within the year.

All participants who do not win an instant prize will get the chance to win a major or grand prize during the raffle draw. Raffle draw winners will be contacted on Facebook Messenger and will be announced on the Selecta Cornetto Facebook page on September 23 (Round 1) and November 8, 2024 (Round 2), 6:00 PM. All fan meet winners will be announced on September 23, 2024. Meanwhile, other prizes will be delivered directly to the consumer on or before December 31, 2024.
Prizes are awarded randomly. Every participant gets an equal chance to win a prize.
You may claim your prize at another branch of the same retailer inputted in the Facebook Messenger chatbot until December 31, 2024.

The trip will be a 2-day stay, and the fan meet will be on October 31, 2024. Winners of the fan meet will get tickets to Cha Eun Woo’s fan event in Bangkok, Thailand where they will see Cha Eun Woo on stage.

If a participant does not meet the fan meet eligibility requirements, then they cannot attend the fan meet. Cornetto will not be liable, and there will be no consolations prize since requirements were posted beforehand.
Cornetto will not assist in applying for travel documents. Winners of the fan meet must possess a valid passport. Individuals without an existing passport or possess an expired passport must independently apply for one. Copies of passports and other necessary travel documents (such as valid government IDs) must be submitted to the Selecta Representative within the cascaded deadline for flight and accommodation booking purposes.
Cornetto is also not liable if travel authorities forbid the individual from flying for whatever reason.
No, Cornetto will not cover local flights and/or transportation expenses within the Philippines.
Cornetto will book one room per winner for an overnight stay and will cover the cost of accommodations for the specified duration. However, any additional requests or expenses incurred at the hotel such as damage to the room, room service, etc. will be the sole responsibility of the guests.
The following expenses will be shouldered by Cornetto:

Expenses beyond the following will not be covered by the brand. For instance, the renewal of passport validity, food, and tourist activities will be the responsibility of the individual.
Any travel extensions will be subject to discussions between the winner and the Cornetto team. Any additional costs incurred beyond the 2-day period such as fare differences and accommodations will be shouldered by the individual.
